Scholarly Communications

“Scholarly communication” is the process of conducting research, producing new knowledge, sharing the results, and evaluating the impact. In collaboration with experts across the Libraries, LibraryPress@UF and Publishing and Archiving in Academic Research Consulting & Services (ARCS) provides leadership and education about scholarly publication issues, including scholarly publication reform, copyright and its impact on scholarship and instruction, publishing choices and agreements, open access publishing and promotion of the scholarly output of the University of Florida’s faculty, staff, and students in the digital environment.

From creation, to publication, to preservation of knowledge, whether for teaching, research, or scholarship, the Libraries help faculty, staff and students by providing resources, training, and consultation on the questions that arise throughout this process.
